TALENT KNOWS NO season, but here
are some gifted individuals in various disciplines who are making
waves this fall.
STEPHEN BITTEROLF
THE YOUNG ARTIST Stephen
Bitterolf (Ashton Hawkins, head of the American Council on Cultural
Policy, owns several of his pieces) is influenced by 16th-century
German artist Albrecht Dürer, with an eye for the natural
world.
Mr. Bitterolf's first solo show, through Sept. 27 at Zieher/Smith
Gallery in New York, has drawings of ladybugs.
Each is accompanied by the corresponding bug cast in clear resin.
